Lost Hobby

I'm always interested in trying out new hobbies. This summer I tried embroidery and I really enjoyed it because it taught me patience. Since the process is really slow, I only made two embroideries. I hung one of them in my room and sadly I lost the second one that I made. I also picked up calligraphy not too long ago and I still need to practice more on it.

One hobby that I would like to pick back up is drawing. Back in high school I was really into it! I would draw for my art class but also for my own pleasure. However, I lost all motivation and inspiration to draw. I bought a new sketchbook and some supplies, sat down with a blank canvas and nothing would come to me. Right now I am on a journey to get back the motivation and inspiration to draw again.

  3. Do what makes you happy. If you aren't motivated maybe its time to look for something new! Maybe you could try drawing with different mediums like charcoal or different types of pens. Changing things up might refresh the hobby for you :)

  5. It's great that you found a hobby that helps you learn patience. Without patience, it makes things in life more difficult to complete. Hope you'll continue on with it.

  9. You can make some cool things. Those are great hobbies, I see people in "Michaels" and "Hobby Lobby" still purchasing the products to embroider and write calligraphy.

  11. I'm always amazed when I see people draw things in real-time, anytime I try drawing anything it just ends up as stick people and rudimentary shapes!
